Acer Desktop Computers
Acer has been a major manufacturer of PC's for over 30 years (it was ranked #4 in size worldwide prior to it's merger with Gateway in October 2007). For businesses, Acer makes desktop models that are part of the "AcerPower" series. On the consumer side, their desktop computers are called "Aspire".
The Aspire L310 is a "small form factor" PC, which means that the box is significantly smaller than the usual desktop tower. It's also designed to be quieter and more energy-efficient than older models. Non-standard sizes like this can sometimes make it more difficult to do internal upgrades, but if that's not your sort of thing it won't be a problem.
The Aspire T180 is for budget-minded consumers. It comes in AMD Dual-core and AMD Sempron variants. And the Aspire E380 is the model to consider if you want the power of the latest AMD Athlon 64 dual-core processors.
